Red Cole Tea Towel in Collaboration with ByBells - Watercress
This product is currently sold out.
Quality tea towel, exclusive to Red Cole, created in collaboration with British illustrator & print designer Bybells to celebrate some of Britain's best ingredients.
This beautifully designed tea towel is as practical as it is pretty. Generously sized (72cm x 42cm), 100% cotton (309gsm) and woven with two threads in parallel instead of one making them heavy-duty yet lightweight and very easy to clean.
This design celebrates Hampshire Watercress.
Traditionally Grown Hampshire Watercress is world-famous (for those in the know) for its distinctive peppery, mustard-like flavour. Watercress is indigenous to the UK and has been eaten at least since Roman times. It was introduced to commercial cultivation in England in 1808. Traditionally watercress is grown on water beds and is best grown in Hampshires chalky downs - it’s here that it achieves it’s muster oils unlike watercress grown anywhere else in the world.
Wash at 40C, tumble dry and iron on a low heat (if you iron your tea towels that is).
